I believe that Myrrh & Frankincense are in perfect unity with each other, in other words, in shalom with each other - hence the name "Shalom Blend".

While the main property of the Myrrh essential oil is to kill the dangerous cells in your body, the main function of Frankincense is to build new, healthy cells.  That is why I believe that these two oils, when used together, generate perfect, healthy cells in your body that will obviously enhance an overall healthier body.

Ingredients:  This Shalom blend consists of a 3% concentration of 100% pure Frankincense Boswelia serrata essential oil and 100% pure Myrrh Commiphora wildii essential oil, blended in Organic Cold pressed Extra virgin Olive oil.

How to use:  Use this Shalom Blend topically on your skin a few times a day.  This blend is safe for children  over 2 years.  This blend is also safe to use orally for any oral or throat infections.

Apply on skin for any skin condition: as a quick disinfectant for wounds, healing for scars, and even as an ointment for vaginal infections. Apply also for more serious skin conditions, like eczema, ringworm, insect bites, etc.

For health conditions:  Apply on the spine, under the feet, behind the ears, on your temples and near any artery or on a specific area that needs healing.  Apply on the area of any organ that needs healing.

The Myrrh & Frankincense synergy ensures that the following happens in your body:
1. The Phenylpropanoids cleanse the cell receptors & repair the communication inside your body from cell to cell.
2. The Monoterpenes rewrite the miscoded DNA & open trauma memories to enable the body to recover. It does not matter where in your body the illness/weak spots are, the Myrrh & Frankincense will enter the cells and bring healing.

Myrrh has the following properties:

  • Anti-venom properties
  • Anti-bacterial - kills the bad bacteria in your body
  • Antifungal
  • Anti-inflammatory
  • Antimicrobial
  • Antiseptic
  • Astringent, etc…
  • Use for: coughs, bronchitis, wounds, sores, ulcerations, eczema, skin infection, ringworm, insect bites, parasitic bites, intestinal disorders, diarree, excess mucus, gum disease, mouth ulcers, fungal nail infections [Valerie anne Worwood, The Complete Book of Essential Oils and Aromatherapy (Revised ed., 2016), 606]
  • POWERFUL anti-oxidant
  • Fights cancer cells

Frankincense has the following properties:

  • Promotes the growth of new cells
  • Classified as an anti-inflammatory herb.    Researchers believe that frankincense can prevent the release of "leukotrienes", which are compounds that can cause inflammation.
  • Frankincense contains "sesquiterpenes", chemical constituents that help increase the amount of  oxygen  in the limbic system of the brain.    Sesquiterpenes are unique because they have the ability to cross the blood-brain barrier.  (The American Medical Association has said that, "If they could find an agent that would pass the blood-brain barrier, they would be able to find cures for ailments such as Lou Gehrig’s disease, multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer’s disease, and Parkinson’s disease.")
  • Frankincense may help to support cellular function due to its cytophylactic properties, which means that it facilitates the regeneration and oxygenation of cells, including brain and skin cells.
  • Frankincense is:

    • Antibacterial

    • Antidepressant

    • Antimicrobial

    • Antiseptic

    • Calmative

    • Expectorant

Use for: anxiety, asthma, bronchitis, extreme coughing, scars, stress, stretch marks, skin infections, wounds, urinary tract infection, mental fatigue, depression, nervousness, chemo therapy side effects, cancer, etc. [Valerie anne Worwood, The Complete Book of Essential Oils and Aromatherapy (Revised ed., 2016), 606]

  • Helps in the fighting of respiratory issues.
  • Improve brain function

Myrrh & Frankincense have been used for 6000 years for healing and worship purposes.  Do you remember what was brought to Yeshua by the Wise men?  Everything a mother needed to bring up a healthy boy (and the gold which they needed to flee to Egypt)!! 😉

Remember that our bodies are meant to metabolize natural compounds, not synthetically formulated chemicals that confuse our brains.

The ability of Frankincense to pass through your blood-brain barrier, allows the oil to reach the area of injury and reduce the imflammation more effectively.  Healing is improved by increasing blood flow and oxygen to the area of injury.

When used topically, Frankincense & Myrrh touts powerful anti-aging properties. It promotes cellular function and the appearance of healthy-looking skin, evening out skin tone and minimizing blemishes.

Taken internally, Frankincense promotes healthy immune function and overall well-being.  As seen above, it has a tremendous potential to improve brain function.

A few other beneficial properties of Frankincense are:

  1.  Boosting the immune system
  2.  Fighting pain and inflammation
  3.  Preventing and treating cancer or relief of cancer treatment effects
  4.  May reduce arthritis (https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/frankincense#TOC_TITLE_HDR_2).  Frankincense has anti-inflammatory effects that may help reduce joint inflammation caused by osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.
  5.  May improve gut function
  6.  Improves asthma  -

Traditional medicine has used frankincense to treat bronchitis and asthma for centuries.

Research suggests that its compounds may prevent the production of leukotrienes, which cause your bronchial muscles to constrict in asthma.

  7.  Maintains oral health  -

Frankincense may help prevent bad breath, toothaches, cavities and mouth sores.

The boswellic acids it provides appear to have strong antibacterial properties, which may help prevent and treat oral infections

Essential oils are complex mixtures of low molecular weight compounds extracted from plants. Their main constituents are terpenes and phenylpropanoids, which are responsible for their biological and pharmaceutical properties, such as insecticidal, parasiticidal, antimicrobial, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antinociceptive, anticarcinogenic, and antitumor properties. (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/29295695/)

Following are a few extracts of many published medical articles on the topic of the amazing properties we find in essential oils:

In the lab, scientists have been testing all kinds of combinations of essential oils and antibiotics, and they’re repeatedly finding that the oils can fight numerous pathogens, including antibiotic-resistant strains of E. coliStaphylococcus aureus (which causes staph infection), and other common types of bacteria. Researchers believe that one mechanism by which the oils work is by weakening the cell wall of resistant bacteria, thereby damaging or killing the cells.  (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/24287491/)

Essential oils (EOs) are a complex mixture of hydrophobic and volatile compounds synthesized from aromatic plants, most of them commonly used in the human diet. In recent years, many studies have analyzed their antimicrobial, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory and anticancer properties in vitro and on experimentally induced animal models of colitis and colorectal cancer.     Many EOs and some of their molecules have demonstrated their efficacy in inhibiting bacterial, fungi and virus replication and in modulating the inflammatory and oxidative processes that take place in experimental colitis. In addition to this, their antitumor activity against colorectal cancer models makes them extremely interesting compounds for the modulation of the pathophysiology of the large bowel.  (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/32532055/)

Bring in the science...

The main chemical constituents of the essential oil are Limonene, Pinene, Borneol, Farnesol, Phellandrene, Myrcene, and other constituents. Limonene demonstrates antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-fungal properties. It is believed to reduce feelings of anxiety and to stimulate the immune system. Pinene is known to strengthen and invigorate the respiratory system and is reported to have diuretic properties based on empirical evidence. Borneol contributes tonic, anesthetic, sedative and anti-spasmodic properties to this oil. Farnesol is the component that allows this oil to reduce the user’s signs of aging by smoothing the look of wrinkles and increasing skin’s elasticity.
